So you know what I’m counting?
The days of school that are left.
It’s down to 7 and a P.A Day.
I can’t wait.
Then the lazy life of creating, parks, beaches, reading, learning, and sharing begins!

This is Wilbur.
I picked him up on the weekend from the booth beside me, Pidpenky. He’s super cute. He sits on my dresser and makes me smile as I walk into my room. Yeah I’m 37 and bought a stuffed bunny. But how could I not!?
Yep, cute little button.
Here are some of his friends I had a hard time leaving behind.
I had a great day at the Toronto Etsy Street Team show on Saturday. I had sales, pill I wandered around, I spent the money I made from my sales on other vendors . . .all and all a great day!
I spent a silly amount on my new addiction, pretty nails. I bought a lot from these lovely ladies at Beyond the Nail.
I picked up some fun nail decals, clouds, anchors, and hearts and this Minty Twilight nail polish.
I also got another kind, with the same dots and stars combo but with much more vibrant colours, like black and green and lime green. So fun. I wore that to work today to brighten up my Monday. Then I changed them this evening to the Minty Twilight just to change it up for tomorrow!
Nail art, my new weakness.
I’ve decided to try making my own clothes again!
I’ve only made a shirt and some skirts (one, two) so far. The shirt was a disaster, hence the lack of proof about it’s existence. I tackled this pattern but I think, while I picked the size listed for my measurements at the time, I should have made a size smaller. I made view A but it was icky once done. So not flattering for me. And somehow the neck hole part was much smaller than the shirt part . . . it didn’t go well.
The other day during a pattern sale at Fabricland I went a little crazy and picked these ones up.
Its the pink one at the bottom in the middle that got me on that pattern.
I doubt why these dresses are awesome needs an explanation!
I also picked up a skirt pattern that I can’t seem to find the picture for right now. I tried to photograph them this afternoon but it was a really grey day here and my camera battery was dead.
I still have some Lisette patterns I’ve been dying to try. I think as school winds up and I have more free time to create I’m going to be fleshing out my wardrobe with some handmade creations. Which is good because after losing 55 pounds I’ve been purging my closet a whole lot!
We all have those unfinished projects. Why do we do that?!
So as if I don’t have enought of them lying around already my BFF did some cleaning up in her craft room and tossed a few unfinished projects at me. But how I could I resist this raincoat!?
It fits perfectly, is over half done and is absolutely adorable!!
Ok I’m sooo ready for this.
I think I’m so ready that I’ll play twice.
Fine print –
– scraps must measure at least 2 inches by 2 inches, there is no maximum size but it is supposed to help you destash your scrap bin so sending fat quarters probably won’t help with that.
– scraps must be unwashed, clean, and in usable condition
– fabrics should be of relatively the same weight, cottons/linens/light canvas so allow for quilting or use in the same project
– be able to send 10-ish ounces to your partner mailed by May 27th
Leave a comment with your blog or email and I will match us up on Monday May 20th and send an email to you and your swap buddy.
Ok, it’s been packaging and picking time around here for the last little bit so I’m going to announce everyone at the same time!
Giveaway Day winner is Steph! Thank you to everyone who came by and left such great answers and I’m sure motivated others to get started on *that* project finally. I know I wanted to reach out and help you all get started. Please share if you do finally start something, send me an email, I’ll shout it from the rooftops for you.

This is a great video about those of us who dream and strive to be creative. It’s full of brilliant inspirational quotes and I love that my cup cozy appears after the statement “Don’t say that it’s impossible and there’s no budget for glitter” (look at 1:25, don’t blink)
Click the link, not the video screen shot. I don’t know how to embed, that’s all fancy pants like!

Yipeee!! Once again its Sew Mama Sew’s Giveaway Day.
And because I’m addicted to these scrappy wallets I’m going to give one away again. I just made a giant pile of them so choosing should be easy peasy. They are made with a fantastic Michelle Patterns pattern.
I may not have these exact wallets left but I’ll send a picture of a big selection and let you choose, should you be the lucky winner!
